Include portable printers as
part of a portable office
When having to do business on
the road, portable printers can make the difference between having a
complete portable office or not; some portable printers are compatible
with desktops and PDAs as well; the paper used can affect the quality of
the print.
All in one printers have a big disadvantage
“All-In-One” printers,
those that include scanner, fax, copier and printer in one component
only save space; their performance may not be the best and they tend to
have many problems related to the connectivity.
Low prices printer are low
quality
The design and construction of
low-end printers has less attention of detail and durability; cheap
printers tend to jam much more often than good printers do.
Using printers regularly helps
them work well
To keep a printer working fine,
use it on a regular basis at least to print in low quality; this will
keep the ink circulating, avoiding the ink from drying and the printer
from not printing in certain areas or not printing at all.
Leave the ink cartridge in the
printer until ready to replace
When a printer runs out of ink,
leave the cartridge in the printer until ready to replace it; the
printer nozzles as well as other parts in the printer may get affected
if the cartridge is removed for an extended period of time.
