How X10 Works
A transmitter plugs at one
location in the home and sends a control signal to a receiver which
plugs (or wires) into another location in the home. Just by pressing a
button you have over 256 addresses, enabling the user to assign multiple
applications. Very compatible it is very easy to mix and match
accordingly.
X10 Problems
The technology is affected by
appliance running that generates "noise" onto the power line. Noise
filters can be used to correct the problem. The use of plug-in phase
couplers also correct possible signal distortion.

It is common to start your

friendly and cost little more than $10-$15 dollars, you can set dimmers
